Weekend skies

Saturday SundayWe had buckets of rain come down a couple times today. The second time the clouds opened up while the sun was still shining in the late afternoon. When it stopped there was a great big rainbow in the dark sky right over the Sears Tower.

  2. Beautiful rainbow! I wish that we would get some rain...it's so dry that the grass crunches when you walk on it. How did you get your pictures corners rounded?

  3. When I had them in photoshop I drew a rounded corner rectangle around the photo and increased the stroke width to fill in the corner.

It is terrible how the weather seems to be such extremes in the different parts of the country. I bet the people in Iowa and west Illinois wish they could funnel all the water off to the parched south.
The west coast is already starting the fire season several months early, I hate to think about what it will be like in the fall.

  4. I was in Charlotte at a comic book show and missed the rainbow! My DH took pictures from the south suburbs of it. Thanks for the pictures!
