  1. Do you like these more, less or the same as the Tsukineko inks? I may have asked you before but I can't recall what you said. Sorry for my poor memory!

  2. Lisa,

I like both, the tsukineko inks are very bright and transparent and the application methods used are very different than painting with the acrylic inks. The acrylic inks look more like regular paints, except they are much thinner.

Judy, which colors would you buy as primaries? I like to mix my own colors and want to buy the 6 ounce size. Would you suggest the cyan, magenta and process yellow, or another blue, yellow and red combination? Have you tried their white ink? I'm wondering how opaque it is. I love the piece you did with these inks.

  5. Hi Jean,

I started with Process yellow, magenta and cyan then realized I needed a darker blue to make deeper blues and greens, so I bought Indigo. The sepia is a nice neutral brown, I also bought purple lake because it is a nice bright deep purple and the dark green, but you probably wouldn't need it. The white is good for mixing with the other inks, but it is not super opaque, having a textile paint white is a good addition if you want an opaque white to paint over colors.
