I took this photo from our window close to sunset. I love the light quality when the sky is dark and cloudy and the sun is breaking through. Everything seems to glow.
so beautifully moody! i lived in chicago burbs for 11 years, late 70's through 80's, my husband is a chicago native. such a great city & skyline, and the superb food. judy, you're lucky to be in such a wonderful location. enjoy!
This is my favorite colour combination - grayish blue and orange/warm yellow........ I have so many pictures of a tree in autumn colours against a thundery sky, not to mention my quilts! Look right ;O) A great photo Judy - looking forward to the quilt/artwork coming out of this!!
