Yokult has been around for years! It has always been readily available in Hong Kong when we were there & is also available in Australia. I noticed it in the regular supermarket for the first time yesterday although it has been available in the Chinese supermarkets for awhile.I know it is supposed to be good for you but it is not a favourite of mine! I would rather the yogurt. But it is worth at least a try.
You're right Cindy, it has been around for along time, since 1935 in Japan, but it is new to the US market. I tried a sample in N. California and thought it tasted pretty good.
