Caught in the weeds
I am sorry I have been so bad about posting lately, I have been having a very difficult time in my personal life on almost all levels. I have felt overwhelmed and am trying to pull myself out of it. I need to look at the spaces between the weeds in my life and see the light and beauty and try to regain my optimism and hope that eventually everything is going to be ok.
I am focussed on preparing for my classes in Houston in a couple weeks and am so anxious to spend a week with some of the very best women I know. It's going to be exactly what I need, some joy and laughter and a lot of love.

All the best to you as you find your way. Take care. Your talent is amazing and I'm a little jealous of the wonderful folks who get to take one of your classes -
ReplyDeleteI wish you courage and joy. Don't be sorry about blogging absences: blogging is giving away lovely entertainment for free, and I love it when you do it, but you're under no obligation.
ReplyDeleteI am jealous of your students, too. :)
Take care of you as you find your way through.
ReplyDeleteDear Judy, I'm a daily visitor to your blog. You'll find your way through the weeds, it's just a bad patch you're going through. You've brought a lot of light beauty to my days! Sincerely, Barbara
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you're going through this but so happy that you know the value of girlfriends. You'll get lots of perspective when you're with them and I know you'll be feeling better about everything soon.

ReplyDeleteI haven't been commenting much lately, but I have been thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your way. I'll be at Market helping Jane with her booth. Hoping I get a chance to say "Hello" in person.
ReplyDeleteHang in there.
"Hope means simply the belief that something good lies ahead. It is not the same as optimism or wishful thinking, for these imply a denial of reality . . . hope resembles courage more than cheerfulness." (Philip Yancey) Wishing you hope and courage, Judy.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is in my Reader so I read and enjoy it regularly. I'm sorry to hear about your rough times but hang in there, and rest assured, this too shall pass!
ReplyDeleteTake care,
D~~~~
Much happiness and joy to you! I hope your trip is exactly what is needed.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you can feel better soon and know that there are many people rooting for you. Don't feel bad about not posting we will be here when you are ready.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for all your words of support. I am generally a very happy person and try to live in a place of gratitude. But the last 3 years have given me one challenge on top of another and every once in a while I get sucked down a black hole when it feels like more than I can handle. I am trying really hard to crawl back out and feel strong and happy again. :-)
ReplyDeleteI have spent alot of time in that space and I really know how it can feel. Hold onto hope and love around you. The only way I have been able to get though it is to hold onto God and hang on. Thinking of you and I will pray for you. :)
ReplyDeleteYour friends are always available for a little uplifting encouragement. Please feel free to call and vent anytime.:)
ReplyDeleteHopefully you felt my positive thoughts and energy I sent when I saw my Quilting Arts in the mail! Be strong, this too shall pass and you ROCK :) xox
ReplyDeleteI agree. You rock! We'll have fun in Houston. See you soon!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to Houston too! I'll be only too happy to share a smile with you. :-)
ReplyDeleteI was in your class when you taught in New Zealand and ever since I have been following your blog with interest and sending positive thoughts your way. I too have been throught some of the same difficult times and I agree with the other posters, stay close to your friends, your sisters, your children, and one day you will be out of the weeds and happy again on your own terms and living your life the way you want to. Good luck and I wish I was going to be in Houston having fun with everyone there! Kia Kaha from New Zealand
ReplyDeleteI hope the light shines brightly for you soon. I'll be in Houston, too, and hope to say hello!
ReplyDeletexoxo. we'll banish those blues, at least temporarily, in houston. hang in there, dear Judy.
ReplyDeleteHugs from across the sea. Freely given and wanting nothing in return - you deserve all the love and positive, creative energy from those who care about you. Take it while you need it.
ReplyDeletexxx
I'm so sorry to hear that things aren't going as you would like. I'm guessing all the positive energy from Houston will be exactly what you need. You are a fabulously talented woman and I'm grateful that you share those talents so willingly. Best Wishes for an uplifting week!
