Preparing fabric for everyone to use before hand really helped the class be more relaxed and we got to more techniques before our short time together was over.
Thank you so much to all the staff at Interweave, Cloth, Paper Scissors, Pokey, my fellow, incredibly talented, instructors and especially the students who made it such a fantastic week. I can hardly wait until we get to do it again!

ReplyDeleteI would have loved to show finished pieces, but in the three hour time frame we were working with, it wasn't possible to get the work that far. 6 hours would have taken everyone to a finished collage and if we had 9 hours we could have stitched/quilted them.
ReplyDeleteIn this class I tried to introduce students to as many of the different techniques as I could, in 3 hours, that were used in my quilt that was on the cover of Quilting Arts in April 2008.
