I haven't seen the other entries but I have absolutely loved this piece since it was first debuted. My heartiest congratulations. Quite honestly I don't think I've ever seen a piece you made that I didn't love. You usually take my breath away!

as for matters of the heart, duct tape works well, for the broken parts. sucks that i have to tell anyone that, but it's more practical than telling someone 'this too shall pass' like you have acne.
Congratulations! I can see why it won! Just beautiful! Also- I picked up an older copy of Quilting Arts (Dec/Jan 2009) and I LOVED your article about dying with RIT. I have also never thought about dying quilt batting before but can't wait to try! The RIT dyes sound so great because the only place I have to dye is my kitchen. Thanks!
