Oh Deer, Look What's Become of Me! makes it's debut this week
at Road to California in the Robert Kaufman Fabric exhibit "Solid Expressions", these are all quilts using Kona Solid fabrics. This quilt is whole cloth painted on Kona "Ivory". I wish I could be there to see the other quilts in the exhibit too. Anyone who's going please leave me a note about the show I would love to hear all about it.

It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt has turned out so well! This one just makes me break out in a smile everytime I see it!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Judy - it is such a beautiful work of art. Would you like me to take a picture of it for you?
ReplyDeleteI have been following your progress on this one-it turned out so well! Can you tell me though if you used a free motion foot or a walking foot to go around all of the curvy spots? I know the quilt is pretty big too so was just wondering how you maneuvered it around:) Wish I could see it in person-SO CAL is so far away! LOL I am in NO CAL:)
ReplyDeleteHi Libby, thanks, I used a free motion foot on all the quilting. Well, maybe after this quilt is done traveling, I will enter it into PIQF so you can see it ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Judy. I go to PIQF every year so I will be looking:):)
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous! I'm with Libby on this one ... would love to see it at PIQF (it's only 15 minutes away).
