My son Ty has just made his first cover by designing an origami cocktail ring for TimeOut Chicago magazine. They even did a little feature of him on their blog.
HOW COOL IS THAT?!! congratulations to Ty -hopefully he'll start doing regular Blog posts of his FANTASTIC work now...(?) I keep his Blog book marked with my fingers crossed that he'll resume his posts :o)
Cindy, Unfortunately Ty has now become obsessed with guitar and is putting as much zeal into mastering that as he did with origami. So origami seems to mostly come up when money is involved. After 6 months I think he plays as well as many who have played for several years, I am amazed, never realizing there was musical talent in this family.
Maybe one day I will convince him to add music clips to his blog and add some of his 3d computer graphics. I don't think he really sees the full potential of the blog thing yet, though.
