Love the colors in this one! Do you do all the stitching freehand?

  3. this turned out wonderful. I love how your quilting lines add texture to the agave leaves. the colors are absolutly grand and look as if the rising sun is just beginning to hit the underside of the plant

  7. Sandy, I did most of the stitching in this one freehand. But on the agave leaves i found it was easier a lot of the time to stitch with a regualr straight stich contouring the leave shape and put it in reverse to go back up the leaves.
