Yippee, Woo Hoo!!!!!!

Oh my god, I totally forgot to look at the website for Pacific International Quilt Festival today. A friend just emailed me to tell me congratulations for winning FIRST PLACE Innovative for Primordial Sea!

    Yesterday I saw your two quilts at the PIQF and it was no surprise at all that they had gotten ribbons. They're beyond marvelous, and I'm so glad that I got to see them in person. I'm simultaneously awed and inspired.

    (I need to have a talk with the ladies on Mars about their cigar-smoking, though ... that can't be at all healthy, especially considering the relative lack of oxygen in the atmosphere.)
